Angela retired from her role as Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Norwich University of the Arts after 17 years in 2022. The University experience showed first-hand  the potential for transformation through education and of the vital importance of access to culture and the arts in all forms for young people, particularly those from backgrounds of socio-economic disadvantage. 

She has held a number of non-executive and trustee roles in Norfolk and is currently a Director of the Norwich Diocesan Board of Finance and Chair of the Julian of Norwich Partnership.

Prior to moving to Norfolk in 2003, Angela worked in investment banking, initially at JP Morgan and then Goldman Sachs.
